Before they arrived, we hurried to get dressed and were coughing from what I think was an electrical fire, since the water was coming out the ceiling lights with black soot. The air quality was immediately unhealthy, and my 8 month pregnant wife and I hurried to get everything out quickly, without any help or assistance from the staff, who was too busy trying to catch the flood of water in tiny trash receptacles. At 7:30am, our room, H314 was completely flooded with scolding hot water and leaking electrical soot from the ceiling which emergency maintenance could not contain.
